I hope you’ll enjoy my website and that, whether or not you buy my jewellery or photos, you’ll come back and look again.
Just a few lines about me and my work - I’ve been a photographer for over 20 years, eventually specialising in flowers simply because I love them! I’m passionate about colour, shape and texture - things that flowers are brimming over with - and this led me on to making beaded jewellery, as the same criteria apply there.
Mostly, though, I love creating things that give pleasure to people (including me!) I’m sorry if that sounds pious or prissy, but it’s the simple fact behind what I do.
I began selling my photos a few years ago, and achieved Associateship of the Disabled Photographers Society. I’ve been lucky enough to win various awards, including runner-up in the My Favourite Plant or Flower category of the 2001 RHS Photographic Competition and was awarded a silver medal for an exhibit of my photos at the October 2005 RHS London Flower Show. My pictures have been used in interior design, including as 3’ x 2’ panels in a commercial children’s nursery, and also by various publishers.
As for the jewellery, I started selling about 6 months ago, and hope that you like the range on offer here. It will change frequently - each item is a ‘one-off’, so once sold, it‘s gone - I never repeat anything too closely and as my brain is teeming with new ideas and designs, that’s not too difficult!
Just one more thing and then I’ll shut up. As I’m so often disappointed by the information about items I buy online, I’ve tried to make my jewellery descriptions as comprehensive as possible. If you find them too ‘wordy’ then just ignore them and look at the pictures!
